Does L7 have a consistency rule?
No. L7 Select has no rule called a consistency rule. Instead, each UTC day (Rulebook s.1: Core definitions) can add at most 2% of Initial Balance (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Rulebook s.1: Core definitions) to Qualification Progress (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives), and a day only counts if its net realized gain is at least 0.25% (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives). With a 10% Qualification Progress target (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives), passing takes at least five qualifying days (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives).
How L7 counts each trading day
Each UTC day (Rulebook s.1: Core definitions) runs from 00:00 to 23:59:59 UTC. Two limits apply to that day's net realized gain after simulated costs (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; current figures in Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits):
- Below 0.25% of Initial Balance (Rulebook s.1: Core definitions), the day adds nothing. Commercial Rules calls a day at or above that line a qualifying day (Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits).
- At or above 0.25%, the day adds its net realized gain, up to 2% of Initial Balance (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Rulebook s.1: Core definitions). Commercial Rules calls this the Daily Qualification Progress cap (Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits).
The running total is your Qualification Progress (Rulebook s.1: Core definitions). Later losing days don't reverse it (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives).
Why passing takes at least five days
The Qualification Progress target is 10% of Initial Balance (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Rulebook s.1: Core definitions), and one day can add at most 2% (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives). So at least five qualifying UTC days (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Rulebook s.1: Core definitions) are mathematically necessary. There's no extra minimum number of trading days and no volume target (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits). The rules don't require the qualifying days to be in a row (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives).
What happens to gains above 2% in a day
Gains realized above the daily cap (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives) stay in your balance. They just don't add extra Qualification Progress (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives) that day. Because they stay in the balance, they still count toward the separate 10% net realized target (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives). To pass, you need both targets (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; figures in Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits).
Later losses work the other way. They don't reverse recorded Qualification Progress (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives), but they do reduce your net realized result (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives) and Server Equity (Rulebook s.1: Core definitions), and they can trigger a drawdown breach (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Rulebook s.4: Intraday high-equity trailing drawdown; Rulebook s.5: Static maximum drawdown).
Is a big day against the rules?
No rule ends an evaluation for a large day (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives). Any gain above 2% that day just doesn't add more Qualification Progress (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives). Rulebook section 9 says a winning result isn't by itself proof of misconduct (Rulebook s.9: Genuine trading and prohibited practices).
The risk limits still apply on big days. The 3% daily trailing drawdown (Rulebook s.4: Intraday high-equity trailing drawdown; figure in Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits) follows the day's highest Server Equity (Rulebook s.1: Core definitions), including unrealized gains, so a strong run during the day raises that day's floor (Rulebook s.4: Intraday high-equity trailing drawdown; Risk Disclosure s.4: Drawdown and Evaluation progression risks).
How long you have
The standard evaluation has no fixed completion deadline (Rulebook s.3: Evaluation duration and inactivity). An active evaluation may be closed after 30 consecutive days without recorded trading activity, and logging in or placing an order that doesn't fill doesn't restart that count (Rulebook s.3: Evaluation duration and inactivity; Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits). Both targets have to be met while the evaluation is still active (Rulebook s.3: Evaluation duration and inactivity; Terms of Service s.5: Objective rules and fair administration).

FAQ
How many days does it take to pass an L7 evaluation?
At least five qualifying UTC days (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Rulebook s.1: Core definitions). The Qualification Progress target is 10% (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives), and each day can add at most 2% of Initial Balance (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Rulebook s.1: Core definitions). There's no extra minimum number of trading days (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives).
Which days count toward passing?
A UTC day (Rulebook s.1: Core definitions) whose net realized gain after simulated costs is at least 0.25% of Initial Balance (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits). Days below that add nothing to Qualification Progress (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives).
What happens if I make more than 2% in one day?
The gain stays in your balance and counts toward the 10% net realized target (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives), but that day adds only 2% of Initial Balance (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Rulebook s.1: Core definitions) to Qualification Progress (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives).
Do losing days undo my progress?
No. Later losing days don't reverse recorded Qualification Progress (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives). They do reduce your net realized result (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives) and Server Equity (Rulebook s.1: Core definitions), and the drawdown limits still apply (Rulebook s.4: Intraday high-equity trailing drawdown; Rulebook s.5: Static maximum drawdown).
Is there a time limit?
There's no fixed completion deadline (Rulebook s.3: Evaluation duration and inactivity). An active evaluation may be closed after 30 consecutive days without recorded trading activity (Rulebook s.3: Evaluation duration and inactivity; Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits). A closure under that rule doesn't ordinarily qualify for a refund (Refund Policy s.2: Ordinary nonrefundable outcomes).
Do the evaluation add-ons change how days count?
Max DD+ moves the static maximum drawdown from 3% to 5% for that evaluation only (Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits; Rulebook s.5: Static maximum drawdown), and Leverage+ doubles eligible per-asset evaluation leverage caps (Rulebook s.8: Leverage, notional limits and options; Commercial Rules s.3: Per-asset leverage and permitted markets). Neither is described as changing the 2% cap or the 0.25% minimum (Rulebook s.2: Evaluation pass requires both objectives; Commercial Rules s.2: Evaluation targets and limits).
Can these numbers change after I buy an evaluation?
Generally, no. L7 can update prices, limits, markets and tiers for new purchases, and rule changes apply going forward (Commercial Rules s.6: Changes and precedence; Rulebook s.16: Prospective suspension and termination). An evaluation you've already bought keeps its saved Specifications unless you accept a change, the law requires one, or L7 has to apply an immediate safety or legal measure (Commercial Rules s.6: Changes and precedence; Terms of Service s.15: Changes and accepted-version protection).
L7 Select evaluations are simulated trading assessments (Risk Disclosure s.1: Simulated program, actual contractual rewards; Terms of Service s.4: Nature of the Evaluation).
